Established in 2004, Watermark Design is a collaborative design and arts practise between designer makers Peter Battaglene and Fiona Tabart.

Peter’s training in pottery began after leaving high school in the late seventies, and has come from both workshop based apprenticeships with master potters and an art school education. For over twenty years he has worked independently, specializing in the limited production of finely hand thrown porcelain. Peter has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions, with works acquired for public and private collections both nationally and internationally.
Fiona has a background in fine art printmaking, having graduated from the Tasmanian School of Art in the late eighties, and has over twenty years experience working as a self-employed graphic designer, artist and jewellery maker.

Following a chance meeting when working on a large scale commissioned artwork, Peter and Fiona have gone on to combine their skills, creating a unique and innovative practice focusing on the bespoke decoration of prefabricated materials used in urban design, landscaping and architectural contexts.
